Do you have any experience or training /certifications on Automation testing? Please add tech stack as well like Java, C#, Python as well as Automation frameworks knowledge /experience (like Selenium, Cypress). If Possible, please add little more details in the question description.
My advice would be to not restrict yourself to an Automation tester job as you are fresher. Be open for both Dev and QA roles.
As a fresher, you can start by applying to companies that hire in the masses.
and so on… will update more if people find it useful. Apply on all the main job portals, try approaching people via linkedin
The main impediment for freshers in getting the job is that they have no experience. While searching for job, try to gain some experience by doing one or more of the following.
It will help you stand out and easily crack most of the interviews as the interviewer would be more than happy to take a candidate who has some experience than having no experience. Here are some must-to-do tips.
Build your own projects to showcase your skills and creativity. Whether it’s a web application, mobile app, or a small utility tool. Update your resume with your project detail. Now you are no more a fresher 🙂
Contribute to open-source projects on platforms like GitHub. Start with simple bug fixes, then gradually move on to more complex contributions. Add the link of your source code project on your resume. I know interviewers think highly of someone who has worked on open-source projects. If you are not sure of open-source project, just post another question with details, will help you find it.
Participate in hackathons, coding competitions, and online coding challenges such as those on HackerRank, LeetCode, or Codeforces. You can showcase its scores in your resume.
Create another profile on the job portal (& show some experience) based on your experience working on open source or freelancing. You may get some calls, you never know if they may hire you. Better than not trying.
